This is a portrait of Caroline Polachek. She is the incredible front woman of the band Chairlift. Jorge Elbrecht (who produced most of my record) introduced us. Jorge and I had talked about having some female singers to sing some duets with and he suggested Caroline. I initially wrote a song for her called Answer for Caroline to sing on. That song is not completely finished yet. She ended up singing on three of my songs. The first of which was Thunder. She has such an incredible voice and adds so much to the song. I can’t listen to my initial demo of that song anymore. It’ so alien to hear my voice singing her parts. I have included a link to Chairlift’s myspace page as well as a link to my own. I will post Thunder here even though it is already on my myspace page. But who knows if people check out myspace anymore.
